We are small home breeders but dedicated to producing 5-8 quality holistic yorkshire terrier puppies per year, our dogs are temperment tested, thoroughly socialized, screened for genetic deficiencies and originated from strong, pure, healthy free-whelping lineage rather than dedicated AKC lines.

More About Us:
We are not a kennel. The USDA requires kennels to keep their dogs in a seperate building which does not make for very happy dogs! It is our opinion that good breeders are home breeders. Our two beloved girls are at home with us, play with the neighborhood children, eat on our couch and sometimes sleep in our beds!
We do not have more than one recognized breed - only yorkshire terriers and piebald yorkshire terriers (Biewer Terriers).
Due to the nature of our work (husband is a pilot, wife is a holistic massage therapist) our dogs are given social work, a purpose and are trained accordingly. They travel by car and airplane, they visit schools, stores, banks, auctions, geriatric centers and anywhere we go!
Our pups must stay with their dam the full 8-12 weeks while she teaches them what she knows about life. Yes, obedience and socialization begin when a puppy is with the mother. Please do not ask if we will hand raise a pup for you or take it away from its mother early, it will cause distress to the mother and baby. Our pups are often still suckling a little at 10 weeks old.
We are very honest about the small defects our yorkies do have in conformation and obedience, please ask. If you are looking for a pet/companion animal you will not have to wait long for a pup. If you are looking for a therapy/breed quality pup you may have to wait longer.
We are confident in our pups and back them 100%.
A WORD ON TAIL DOCKING AND EAR CROPPING
We do not dock tails or crop ears on our puppies. There is no dispute among authorities that it causes pain (although tail docking at the traditional 3-4 days old suggests the least amount of pain inflicted), we ahere to the American Vetrinary Medical Assocations belief that tail docking for cosmetic reasons is ethically and logically unsound. The AVMA states:
"Precautionary removal of the tail of a young puppy needs to be based on compelling evidence that the animal is at high risk of tail trauma due to congenital defect, breed and/or planned working activity. However, such a justification should be supported by evidence such as empirical data or impartial expert opinion based on extensive, directly relevant experience."
Such evidence has never become apparent to us. In Europe tail docking and ear cropping has been pronounced cruel and illegal. Since the biewer al la pom pon is originally from Germany and we adhere to European breeding ethics we cannot accomodate the request to remove tails on any of our puppies.
Once the mothers have trained the puppies they make excellent family animals. Our girls are 100% CHILD FRIENDLY and we pride ourselves on their loving, loyal outlook. They are COMPLETELY foolproof, you can pull, pluck, thump and hold them all day, they WILL NOT BITE.
